Cinema Group is an Arabic media production house in Dammam that makes podcasts, radio, news and video. Its legal name means the Arabic screen, and the identity starts from one line: always in, covering every moment.

The logo
The C of Cinema is a screen and a lens, open at 59°, and in sits inside it: the company in the picture. The yellow dot is the only colour, a point of light in the dark, and Group sits between two rules. The symbol, the C with in, is built on one unit, the width of a stem: nine across.

Colour and type
Charcoal and white carry the page, and Sun yellow is the accent, kept small. With Ocean, Peach and Air it makes four colours, read as fire, water, earth and air, and each programme takes one: the podcast Sawalif A’mal, the video series, Radio Cinema Group and the news. MF Sadu sets the titles and TC Postman everything else, both in Arabic and Latin.

The fifth element
Stars were once thought to be made of a fifth element. Here it is the one graphic: the C drawn as a single hairline round a four-pointed star, with lines running off the page. Set in staggered rows it becomes the pattern, kept quiet behind the logo.

Applications
The office front and reception, the podcast studio, a crew jacket, a polo, a tote and cup, a director’s chair, envelopes, notebooks, a page on screen, a T-shirt, the app icon, a pylon sign and a clock.
